YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Strong winds gusting to around 55 mph are possible, mainly along and near the KS and CO state line. Enhanced areas of blowing snow reducing visibility and making local slick spots are expected in areas that received significant snowfall Tuesday.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  Wind chill readings may approach 15 degrees below zero across western Yuma and Kit Carson counties during the early morning hours of Friday, Saturday, and Monday.  Dangerously cold low temperatures and wind chills are currently forecasted across the region on Wednesday night into the following morning.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation not anticipated, but we appreciate any wind reports or reports of reduced visibility due to blowing snow or dust.
