This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado. .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT... A high impact weather day is expected across the area in the form of strong to damaging winds, very high fire danger and blowing dust. High Wind Warning continues for the entire area as wind gusts in excess of 60 mph are expected behind a cold front this afternoon. The Red Flag Warning continues for the majority of the area with warm temperatures, dry conditions and strong winds around 60 mph. Winds will shift to the NW with the passage of the cold front creating the potential for dangerous fire weather if a fire is ongoing. Blowing dust is expected across the area, especially east of Kansas Highway 25, along with the potential for a wall of dust forming along the cold front during the afternoon leading to dangerous travel conditions. Reduced visibilities due to blowing dust may persist after sunset. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...
