YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...  A High Wind Warning is in effect for the entire Tri State region on Friday for the late morning and afternoon hours. Damaging winds northwest winds around 60 mph are expected behind a cold front.   A Red Flag Warning is in effect for all counties except those in southwest Nebraska, as critical fire weather conditions are expected to develop Friday during the late morning and afternoon hours. Any fires that start may exhibit explosive fire growth. Outdoor burning is not advised. The wind shift may create dangerous fire conditions if one were to be ongoing.  Blowing dust and perhaps a wall of dust is possible Friday afternoon reducing visibilities and making travel hazardous if not dangerous at times.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight.
