YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Red Flag Warning continues for Yuma and Kit Carson counties this afternoon. Near critical fire weather conditions are expected near the warning area. Wind gusts up to 30 MPH are anticipated today.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  A Red Flag Warning has been issued for Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado, Sherman, Thomas, Wallace, Logan, Greeley and Wichita counties for Wednesday afternoon. A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect for Yuma, Dundy, Hitchcock, Red Willow, Rawlins and Cheyenne counties,  Multiple hazards are possible Thursday with gusty to windy conditions likely leading to blowing dust; the most likely area to see blowing dust is along and south of Interstate 70. Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Thursday evening east of Highway 83.  Snow showers are possible across Yuma and Kit Carson counties overnight Thursday into Friday morning. Breezy winds may reduce visibilities in areas of snow.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
