YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT...  A Red Flag Warning is in effect until 7 PM MDT (8 PM CDT) for Thomas, Logan, Greeley and Wichita counties. All outdoor burning should be avoided.  There is a slight chance for thunderstorms across Yuma county through this evening. The primary hazards include wind gusts up to 50 mph and cloud to ground lightning which may spark wildfires.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are anticipated Saturday afternoon along and east of a line from Trenton, Nebraska to Goodland and Tribune, Kansas. Caution should be used if burning outdoors.  Elevated fire weather conditions are anticipated Sunday afternoon for those along and east of the Colorado Kansas border.
