YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH TONIGHT...  Strong to potentially severe thunderstorms are possible from around 3 PM MDT (4 PM CDT) to 6 PM MDT (7 PM CDT) from Burlington and Goodland north into Yuma and Dundy counties. The primary hazards include wind gusts to 60 mph and hail up to one inch in diameter.  A second round of strong to potentially severe thunderstorms are possible from 6 PM MDT (7 PM CDT) to 9 PM MDT (10 PM CDT) for locations along and north of the Kansas Nebraska border. Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions may occur each afternoon for Sunday through Tuesday along and west of Highway 27.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required this afternoon and evening.
