YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Showers and storms are expected across most of the area starting this afternoon and lasting through the overnight hours. Initially, there will be a threat for landspouts and hail up to an inch in diameter (mainly south of I-70 and Highway 24) during the afternoon hours. Going into the evening and overnight hours, the chances for landspouts and hail will decrease while the threats for severe wind gusts (to around 60-65 mph) and localized flooding will increase. Both threats are expected to be isolated in nature and tied to stronger/training storms.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required, any severe/flooding reports this afternoon and evening will be appreciated.
