YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Areas of fog will impact locales along and north of the Interstate through the mid morning hours. Visibility down to a mile or less at times could impact area travel.  A Flood Watch for potential flash flooding is in effect for Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado for this afternoon into the evening hours.  Showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon across the area. Strong to severe storms are possible for areas along and west of Highway 25 into Colorado, and south of the Interstate. Threats include damaging winds, large hail and locally heavy rainfall, especially west of Highway 27 into portions of Colorado.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Scattered thunderstorms are possible during the late afternoon and evening hours on Monday. Confidence in thunderstorm location and coverage is below average. Locally heavy rainfall remains possible in association with any storms.  Scattered storms are possible late Tuesday south of Highway 40.
