YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  A Heat Advisory is in effect for portions of the area this afternoon and early this evening, mainly east of Highway 83.  Thunderstorms developing in northeast Colorado this afternoon may track eastward into western Kansas and southwest Nebraska during the late afternoon and evening. Brief, localized wind gusts up to 60 mph, dangerous cloud to ground lightning, and locally heavy rainfall are possible in association with any thunderstorms, mainly between 6 PM and 11 PM MDT.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...
