YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  A Heat Advisory is in effect for portions of the area today, mainly along and east of Highway 83 where heat indices will approach 105 degrees this afternoon.  Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will be possible after about 2 PM MDT (3 PM CDT), continuing through about midnight before decreasing in coverage from west to east. A few thunderstorms could produce brief, sudden and potentially damaging wind gusts to 75 mph and locally brief periods of heavy rainfall.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  Scattered thunderstorms are possible Wednesday afternoon and evening.
