YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms will move into the Tri-State area from the west early this evening, continuing through much of the night. The highest coverage of showers and thunderstorms will be south of Interstate 70. The primary hazards will be wind gusts up to 65 mph and locally heavy rainfall followed by hail up to one inch in diameter. Another area of showers and non severe thunderstorms may move into areas from Hitchcock county to Graham county from the northwest toward sunrise. Locally heavy rainfall appears to be the primary hazard.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  The possibility of late day thunderstorms continues each day from Saturday into next week. There is a marginal risk of severe storms Sunday with the possibility of localized wind gusts over 60 mph and hail as large as quarters.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not expected. We would appreciate any reports of severe weather via telephone and social media.
