YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THROUGH TONIGHT...  Hazardous weather is not anticipated at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Well above normal temperatures will persist through early next week, with daytime highs reaching the upper 90s to lower 100s on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Prolonged periods of hot weather significantly increase the potential for heat-related illness.. in both people and animals.  Hazardous fire weather conditions.. associated with well above normal temperatures and breezy to strong south winds.. will persist through early next week. Sustained winds ranging from 30 to 40 mph are anticipated during the late morning and afternoon hours on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Outdoor burning is not advised.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated through the weekend.
