YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...  Patchy dense fog is expected for a few hours this morning mainly east of the Kansas and Colorado border along and south of Interstate 70.  Strong to severe thunderstorms will move across the area from late Monday afternoon through the early overnight hours. Large hail, damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall which may produce flash flooding are the main hazards. A brief tornado can not be ruled out.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...  Strong to severe thunderstorms capable of damaging wind and large hail will once again move across the central High Plains region Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible and may produce flash flooding.  The weather pattern becomes less active on Wednesday with a return of severe thunderstorms possible on Thursday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation may be required between 4pm and 1am Mountain Time. Any reports of severe weather would be appreciated.
