YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...  An isolated severe thunderstorm cannot be ruled out today, mainly in southwest Nebraska through 6 PM MDT (7 PM CDT). Quarter size hail and damaging winds are the primary hazards should these storms occur.  A Red Flag Warning is in effect this afternoon and evening for Kit Carson and Cheyenne counties in Colorado. Near-critical fire weather conditions are expected today for areas west of Kansas Highway 23.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...  Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are expected Sunday afternoon and Monday afternoon for locations generally along and south of Interstate 70.  There is a Marginal and Slight Risk of severe thunderstorms Sunday afternoon and evening for location generally along and north of Interstate 70. The primary hazards will be large hail and damaging winds.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
