YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...THROUGH TONIGHT...  Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are anticipated across portions of the area during the afternoon hours on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, mainly in eastern Colorado and locations situated south of Interstate 70 in northwest Kansas.  An isolated severe thunderstorm cannot be ruled out Saturday afternoon, mainly in southwest Nebraska between 3 PM and 7 PM MDT. Quarter size hail and damaging winds are the primary hazards.  Severe thunderstorms are possible during the afternoon and evening hours on both Sunday and Memorial Day, mainly east of Highway 83.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to monitor updated convective outlooks from the Storm Prediction Center this weekend.
