YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Tonight...  A Freeze Warning is in effect for northeast Colorado from midnight tonight into the mid morning hours on Saturday. Overnight lows will drop to around 30 degrees.  A Frost Advisory is in effect for counties along and west of Highway 25 from Wichita County to Hitchcock county. Temperatures will drop into the lower and mid 30s. Be sure to protect and sensitive vegetation from the cold.  Snowfall will impact portions of the region overnight into Saturday. The area of focus will be locales along and west of Highway 27. A couple of inches of snowfall is possible in Colorado, especially in Kit Carson and Yuma counties. If driving be prepared for areas of reduced visibility due to snowfall and some slick spots on elevated surfaces.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH FRIDAY...  Frost or freeze conditions are possible in eastern Colorado and adjacent Kansas border counties Saturday night and Sunday morning, depending on cloud cover. Those with sensitive plants and flowers should prepare for much colder temperatures this weekend.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not anticipated. Spotters are encouraged to report any snowfall amounts.
