Scattered thunderstorms will develop along southern portions of the Colorado Front Range early Wednesday afternoon, tracking east toward the Kansas border during the late afternoon and early evening. A few severe storms are possible, mainly south of Interstate 70 and west of Highway 83 between 3 PM and 9 PM MDT. Near critical to critical fire weather conditions are anticipated across the entire Tri-State area on Thursday.
