A Red Flag warning is in effect for eastern Colorado in addition to portions of southwest Nebraska and northwest Kansas from late morning through early evening for critical fire weather conditions resulting from the hot, dry, and breezy conditions expected. A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening mainly east of the Colorado border with large hail and damaging winds being the main threats with the stronger storms if they develop. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY... Strong to severe storms are possible again on Thursday afternoon and evening, mainly east of a McCook, Nebraska to Gove, Kansas line. The main threats will be large hail and damaging winds.
