YUMA COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for extreme southwest Nebraska... northwest Kansas and east central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...TONIGHT...  No hazardous weather is expected at this time.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...  A Red Flag Warning is in effect for Eastern Colorado from late Wednesday morning through the early evening hours. A Fire Weather Watch remains in effect for portions of Northwest Kansas and Southwest Nebraska for the same time period.  A few strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Wednesday afternoon and evening, mainly for locales near and east of the Colorado state line. Wind gusts in excess of 65 mph and large hail to around the size of a golfball are possible if storms develop. Strong to severe storms are possible again on Thursday, mainly east of a McCook to Leoti line.  A Fire Weather Watch is in effect from late Thursday morning through the early evening hours for counties along and west of a line from Hitchcock county to Logan county.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation is not needed for tonight. It may be needed for tomorrow afternoon and evening if severe storms do form.
