WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...WIND CHILL WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM MST THIS MORNING ACROSS THE NORTHEAST PLAINS...   ...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 8 AM MST SATURDAY FOR THE NORTHEAST PLAINS...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Very cold temperatures, breezy winds and dangerous wind chill will persist through tonight, most dangerous on the far northeast plains of Colorado this morning and again tonight. Expect a slight moderation in temperatures with readings rising into the single digits and even a few teens this afternoon. There will be a chance of light snow developing in the mountains tonight with light accumulations.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  Areas of light snow are expected to continue in the northern mountains through this weekend. Snowfall amounts are expected to be light, but enough may fall to make the mountain passes slippery. Temperatures will gradually warm this weekend with highs reaching the 40s to lower 50s for Christmas Day.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
