WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...PLAINS BLIZZARD WILL CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight  Blizzard conditions will persist across much of the eastern plains this afternoon. Strong winds will continue to gust up to around 60 mph, which will cause blowing and drifting snow long after snowfall has ended.  Travel will also be difficult in the mountains due to steady snowfall and breezy winds. Snowfall will be lighter in the valleys but slick roads are still possible.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Snow will continue to impact travel in the higher mountains Wednesday and Thursday, with much lighter snow in the valleys. Very windy conditions and areas blowing snow will persist Wednesday and Thursday for the high mountain ridges and eastern plains. Chilly temperatures will prevail through the weekend and into next week with readings 5 to 15 degrees below normal most days.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Reports of snow or high winds from spotters will be welcome.
