WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight   There will be a continuing chance of light snow in the mountains today and tonight, especially along the Continental Divide and along and south of the Interstate 70 corridor. Snow accumulations will be 2 to 5 inches but only around an inch or less over the far northern mountains. Dry and a bit cooler across lower elevations today.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Accumulating snowfall will occur Wednesday for mountains. Totals remain 1-2 inches. Thursday morning, there is a slight chance of snow showers occurring on the plains. Drier conditions are possible starting late Thursday into Sunday. By Sunday afternoon, the next system arrives which increases snowfall chances for all areas.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight, however snowfall amounts will be appreciated over the mountains.
