WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Light snow will develop in the mountains later this morning and linger into early this evening. Accumulations of 1 to 3 inches will be possible along the higher west facing slopes. Gusty winds will produce areas of blowing snow over the mountain passes and exposed ridges above timberline. The plains will remain dry.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Across the plains, generally dry conditions with seasonal temperatures through much of next week, except a slight chance of snow showers late Monday and Monday night.  Across the mountains, periods of gusty westerly winds over the higher mountains and a chance of snow each day. The best chance for precipitation will come Monday into early Tuesday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
