WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...WINTER STORM WATCH NORTHERN MOUNTAINS MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Areas of light snow will end early this morning with little or no accumulation. Strong winds will develop over the mountain ridges and east slopes of the Front Range this afternoon and tonight. Gusts in the 50 to 70 mph range can be expected in wind prone foothills areas overnight tonight.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Strong winds will continue in the mountains Monday, especially above timberline and for wind prone foothill locations. Late Monday and into Tuesday, a storm will bring moderate to locally heavy snow to the mountains, and a few inches of snow to the lower elevations, followed by a shot of cold air Tuesday night and Wednesday before a return to milder conditions later in the week.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
