This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight A cold front will bring cooler temperatures and winds gusting in the 25 to 35 mph range to the plains this afternoon. Light snow showers will develop over the mountains this evening, and move onto the plains overnight. Accumulations of up to 2 inches are possible in the mountains, with less than an inch expected on the plains. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Thursday Strong winds in the mountains Sunday evening through Monday, with occasional gusts 60 to 70 mph possible at pass level, above timberline and into portions of the foothills east of the Divide. Late Monday and into Tuesday, a storm will bring moderate to locally heavy snow to the mountains, and a few inches of snow to the lower elevations, followed by a shot of cold air Tuesday night and Wednesday before a return to milder conditions later in the week. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
