This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Snow will continue over the mountains through tonight, with 5 to 10 inches of snow expected by Friday morning. Expect difficult travel conditions at times, especially later this afternoon and evening. Precipitation will spread east into the foothills and plains through the afternoon hours, with rain initially expected for the urban corridor. This will quickly transition to snow near or just after rush hour. While warm temperatures will reduce travel impacts across the lower elevations, slushy or icy conditions will still be possible this evening and overnight. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches are forecast for the foothills, with 1 to 3 inches across most of the I-25 corridor and eastern plains. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Snow will diminish across the mountains and plains early Friday morning with little or no additional accumulations. Scattered snow showers are expected in the mountains off and on through Sunday with minimal accumulations. Expect increasing windy conditions over the mountains, foothills and immediate plains Friday night through Saturday night with gusts up to 60 mph possible and areas of blowing snow. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
