...SNOW RETURNS TODAY... This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Snow will develop over the mountains this morning. Light rain will develop over the Front Range cities Thursday, spreading east across the plains and changing to light snow early this evening. The snow will diminish after midnight. Accumulations through Friday morning will be 5 to 10 inches over the higher mountains, 3 to 6 inches in the valleys and foothills, and 1 to 3 inches in the Front Range cities with lighter amounts on the plains. Warm temperatures will reduce the impact of the snow at lower elevations during the rush hour this afternoon, but it will eventually get cold enough for slushy or icy conditions to be possible overnight tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday Snow will decrease significantly in the mountains on Friday. It will end on the plains by early Friday morning. Scattered snow showers are expected in the mountains off and on through Sunday with minimal accumulations expected. Windy conditions are expected over the mountains, foothills and immediate plains Friday night into Saturday night. Friday's high temperatures look to be 10 to 15 degrees below seasonal normals.
