This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered snow showers are expected across this afternoon with light additional snow accumulation expected. Snow will increase over the mountains again this evening and overnight. Snowfall rates up to one inch per hour are possible in the north-central mountains. Travel may become hazardous under the heaviest bands of snow later tonight and Thursday morning. Across the I-25 corridor, scattered rain showers this evening will switch over to snow around 3 AM Thursday morning. Accumulations of a trace to one inch are possible, especially on grassy areas with highest amounts near the foothills. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday Light to moderate snow will fall over the high country Thursday morning than decrease by afternoon. There may be minor impacts to travel early Thursday. Light accumulations are possible for the foothills, with little or no accumulation over the plains.
