WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Light snow will be possible across the mountains and higher terrain later today and tonight. The Eisenhower Tunnel as well as surrounding areas of similar elevation could receive an inch or two of snowfall. Wind gusts will reach as high as 45 mph across the higher terrain today and up to 35 mph across the far northeast plains.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  A shortwave trough will bring light to moderate snow amounts to the northern mountains late Wednesday through Thursday. This system will also bring a mix of rain and snow showers to the foothills and plains and light snow accumulation are possible there. Minor impacts are possible for the high country with potential for slick roads Thursday morning.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
