WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Showers and thunderstorms are likely this afternoon and evening, with a few showers lingering overnight. Snow may mix in with any showers over the mountains, with snow levels between 11 and 12,000 feet. Stronger storms today will be capable of producing small hail and gusty winds, in addition to lightning. Burn area flash flooding is also possible today. Temperatures will be cooler today, with highs in the 60s to 70s across the plains.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Scattered showers along with isolated thunderstorms will occur Sunday morning to Sunday evening throughout the Front Range. A few stronger isolated thunderstorms could produce wind gusts up to 40 mph and small hail. Additionally, there is a limited threat of flash flooding for the burn areas. Another round of weak numerous showers will occur Monday afternoon. Tuesday, isolated showers will mainly focus in the southern foothills, South Park, and Palmer Divide. By mid next week, a cool and dry pattern prevails for all areas.   .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, reports of rain, hail, or wind reports will be appreciated.
