WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Showers and thunderstorms are likely today and this evening. They should decrease overnight. The snow level in the mountains will be around 11,000 feet. Brief heavy rainfall, wind gusts to 45 mph and small hail are expected.  There will be a limited threat of flash flooding over the alpine burn areas if heavy rain showers fall in those areas.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  The unsettled weather pattern will stick around through Sunday and Monday, with scattered showers and isolated storms each day. A couple of the storms could produce brief heavy rain, small hail, and gusty winds to around 40 mph. Somewhat drier weather will being to spread southeast across the forecast area toward Tuesday, with drier and more stable weather in all areas for Wednesday and Thursday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, any reports of strong, gusty winds will be appreciated.
