This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight There will be a better chance of showers with some thunderstorms across the region, especially in the mountains north of Interstate 70. The storms will develop over the high country this morning, then push east off the higher terrain and into the urban corridor and northeast plains this afternoon and evening. The stronger storms could produce brief light to moderate rainfall, gusty winds to 40 mph and small hail. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday There will be a chance of showers and a few thunderstorms for the plains Saturday through Monday. In the mountains and foothills, showers will be likely with a few thunderstorms as well. Some heavier rain showers will cause a limited threat of alpine burn area flooding through Monday. The airmass will dry out somewhat through mid next week but there will still be a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the mountains. The plains look pretty dry. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
