WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers along with embedded thunderstorms are possible for the mountains and valley today. These showers will move off the higher terrain becoming more isolated. Isolated thunderstorms are more favorable in the far eastern plains late afternoon into this evening. Storms will produce gusty winds up to 50-60 mph and hail. There will be a low threat for flash flooding over the Cameron Peak and East Troublesome burn areas. Scattered showers/storms are possible over those areas; however, storm motions will be quicker limiting the threat.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  Isolated thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon and evening over and near the mountains. Otherwise, it will dry and warm this weekend into early next week. Isolated mountain storms will return on Tuesday. A cold front and increasing moisture will bring increased shower and thunderstorm activity for Wednesday and Thursday, with a limited threat of burn area flooding.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to send wind or rainfall reports.
