WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Rain and high mountain snow showers will continue through this afternoon. Other than a light snow accumulation over the higher mountain peaks, no snow accumulation is expected. Across the plains, scattered thunderstorms and showers will form this afternoon. The stronger storms will be capable of producing wind gusts up to 50 mph, small hail, and brief heavy rainfall.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  Scattered thunderstorms are expected again Friday over the northern mountains, with just isolated storms elsewhere. The threat of gusty winds or heavy rain will be lower. For the weekend into early next week, mainly dry and warm weather is expected, with increased fire weather conditions at times over the plains. Cooler temperatures and a better chance of showers will likely return about Wednesday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotters are encouraged to send wind or rainfall reports.
