WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Showers and thunderstorms will become widespread over the higher terrain by early afternoon, with some of the activity, spreading across the plains by late afternoon. There will be a limited to elevated threat of flash flooding in the burn scars. Gusty winds to 50 mph may also occur with some of the activity with brief heavy rain.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Scattered storms will occur mainly in the mountains Thursday afternoon. It is possible for isolated thunderstorms and showers to push into the I-25 corridor and plains Thursday evening. Friday, high based showers remain isolated over the high country. Dry conditions will begin this weekend into Monday for all areas.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
