WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop over the higher mountains this afternoon, mainly across Summit and Park counties with brief rain and gusty winds. The showers will dissipate during the evening hours. Dry conditions will return to the plains with slightly cooler temperatures.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Near record heat and elevated fire weather conditions are expected through the middle of next week. High temperatures in the Denver metro are forecast to reach the mid 90s through Thursday, with 70s to 80s likely across the high country.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed.
