WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  A drier and more subsident airmass will be moving across Colorado today with less thunderstorm activity then in days past. Shower activity will be more isolated in areal coverage and mainly confined to the higher mountains and locations along and south of the Interstate 70 corridor. Expect only brief rain and gusty winds with the showers today. Temperatures will be warmer across the plains with mainly dry conditions.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  For Sunday through Tuesday, only isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms are expected over the mountains. Some increase in mountain storms along with a chance of storms on the plains is expected starting Wednesday. The threat of burn area flooding is very low through Tuesday, then a low threat may return after that. Severe thunderstorms are not expected.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
