WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Mostly cloudy and unsettled. Showers and thunderstorms will develop over the mountains by early this afternoon, then spread over the plains by late afternoon and evening. The best coverage will occur along and south of the Interstate 70 corridor. Expect brief heavy rain and gusty winds with the storms. These storms will bring an elevated threat of flash flooding to Cameron Peak burn area, with a limited risk over the rest of the burn areas.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday  Isolated to scattered thunderstorms will mainly focus in the mountains Saturday afternoon. Parts of the urban corridor and plains will remain dry while reaching near 90 degrees. Similar conditions will occur Sunday. A seasonable and drier period begins Monday through late next week for all areas across the region.  ...SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed, but rainfall reports would be greatly appreciated.
