WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  This afternoon and evening, showers and thunderstorms are likely in the mountains. This will lead to the potential for burn area flash flooding. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will occur over the plains with the main threat being gusty winds up to 50 mph and small hail.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  An active pattern will continue this week and into the weekend. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are forecast each day this week, especially over the mountains and foothills. Chances for rain will increase this weekend, with heavy rain possible. Burn area flash flooding will continue to be a concern through early next week. Hot temperatures are also expected Thursday and Friday, with highs in the mid to upper 90s.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight but rainfall reports would be greatly appreciated.
