There could be some burn area flash flooding in the mountains. Shower and thunderstorm coverage will be less over the plains. The main threat with the storms will be gusty winds to 40 mph and small hail. Rainfall amounts do not look significant. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday An active pattern will continue this week and into the weekend. Afternoon showers and thunderstorms are forecast each day this week, especially over the mountains and foothills. Chances for rain will increase this weekend, with heavy rain possible. Burn area flash flooding will continue to be a concern through early next week. Hot temperatures are also expected Thursday and Friday, with highs in the mid to upper 90s. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
