WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Showers and thunderstorms will be possible across the region starting around noon and continuing into the overnight hours. Primary threats will be localized heavy rain, frequent lightning, and small hail. There is a slight chance that a few storms could become severe mainly east of I-25 with large hail and damaging winds. Storms will also be capable of heavy rain that could lead to flooding.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday  Scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms Thursday with the best chances over the high country. There is a chance for a few stronger storms over the plains which may produce small hail, gusty outflow winds, brief heavy rain and lightning.
