WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Scattered showers and thunderstorms return this afternoon to all areas. Wind gusts to 40 mph, and locally heavy rain will be possible with any storms. There will be a slight threat of flash flooding for area burn scars this afternoon as a result. Temperatures will remain quite warm, but a few degrees milder than yesterday, with low to moderate Heat Risk across the area.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms are expected this week, especially across the Front Range and South Park. There is a limited threat for flash flooding over the burns areas due to higher coverage precipitation and slower storm motions. A few stronger storms are possible over the plains with gusty winds being the main threat. Hot and dry conditions develop Friday into the weekend with potential for highs in mid 90s to 100s by Saturday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
