WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Showers and thunderstorms are likely over the mountains and foothills this afternoon and tonight with the best rainfall expected over Park, Douglas and Jefferson Counties. The western half of the plains can expected a chance of showers and a few thunderstorms. There will be a limited threat of flash flooding over the alpine burn scars.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday  Expect scattered to widespread showers and storms over the mountains and foothills during the afternoon and evening Sunday and Monday. Burn area flash flooding will be possible through about mid week. There will be warming and drying around mid week and precipitation will decrease. Cooler temperatures and increased precipitation are possible again Thursday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However, any reports of strong winds or wind damage will be appreciated.
