WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Isolated showers and storms will form this afternoon and evening mainly over the northern mountains and far northeastern plains with the main hazards being strong winds up to 60 mph, hail, and lightning. Highs will be similar to Saturday with mid to upper 80s across the plains and 60s to 70s in the high country.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Scattered thunderstorms can be expected Monday and Tuesday, a few of these storms may become severe. On Monday afternoon and evening, the strongest storms can be expected over the northeastern plains mainly along and east of a Fort Morgan to Limon line, while on Tuesday a couple strong to severe storms will also be possible farther west closer to the Denver area. The primary threats from these storms will be large hail and strong winds.  Wednesday could still see a couple stronger storms over the Palmer Divide area, while Thursday that threat would shift mostly to the eastern plains. Drier weather is expected to develop toward the end of the week with a return of summer heat.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
