WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 ...Red Flag Warning for Southeast Elbert and Southern Lincoln counties today...  This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  Critical fire weather conditions are expected over southern Lincoln and southeastern Elbert counties later this morning through the evening with dry conditions and westerly winds gusting up to 45 mph.  Elsewhere, scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue early this morning over the far northeast plains with brief heavy rain and even some small hail possible. There will be increasing westerly winds over the mountains and plains by later this morning and afternoon with gusts up to 45 mph. The winds will decrease during the evening hours.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday  Cool weather is expected from later Tuesday through Wednesday. Widespread rainfall appears likely over the Front Range, urban corridor, and Palmer Divide late Tuesday into Wednesday. Light snow accumulations will also be possible for elevations above 8500 feet. A warming trend will begin Thursday and continue into next weekend, with scattered showers and storms returning to the forecast by Friday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
