WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Colorado, east central Colorado, north central Colorado, and northeast Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Snow will continue over the mountains south of Interstate 70 today, diminishing to showers in the afternoon. Additional accumulations of 3 to 6 inches are expected. There will be scattered snow showers further north. On the plains, light rain will develop southeast of Limon and Akron. A few showers are possible further north, mainly near the mountains in the late afternoon and early evening. The showers will end by late evening.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday  Warm and dry conditions will continue until Saturday afternoon. The warmest day this week will be Thursday when parts of the urban corridor and plains could reach the upper 80s to lower 90s. The mountains and valleys will warm up as well reaching the lower 60s to lower 70s. Scattered showers are possible Saturday and Sunday.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
