WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  A weak storm system will make its way across northern CO late this afternoon and tonight. Scattered rain showers along with an isolated thunderstorm can be expected this afternoon and evening. Showers will persist along the northern half of the forecast area after midnight, with snow showers expected for the northern mountains. Breezy conditions are also likely this afternoon over the plains with a few gusts up to 40 mph possible.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday  Our region will trend cooler through mid next week with below normal temperatures expected. Multiple rounds of scattered showers are possible through Wednesday afternoon. Areas above 9000 ft will receive light snowfall mainly Sunday and Monday evenings. Areas below 9000 ft should expect mostly rain showers with isolated thunderstorms producing small hail and gusty winds Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Tuesday afternoon and evening could see moderate snow across the higher mountain passes. Thursday through Saturday, our region will warm up to above normal temperatures.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...  Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
