This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon. A few of these storms could be severe, especially east of I-25. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary threats. Some storms will be possible over the Metro area with strong gusty winds being the main hazard. Storms should end by the late evening hours. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Wednesday afternoon, isolated to scattered thunderstorms will begin in the foothills moving eastward into the Palmer Divide, urban corridor and eastern plains. Thunderstorms could produce small hail and wind gusts up to 40-50 mph briefly. Near critical fire weather conditions are possible Thursday. By Thursday night into Friday, a cooler and wetter pattern arrives across the region. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
