This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon. A few of these storms could be severe, especially east of I-25. Large hail and damaging winds will be the primary threats. Storms should end by the late evening hours. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected again on Wednesday afternoon and evening. A couple strong to severe storms will be possible across the plains and Palmer Divide, mainly south of Interstate 70. The primary threat with the storms will be strong gusty winds and hail. Thursday will feature very warm temperatures, gusty winds, and elevated to critical fire weather conditions. A change to colder and wetter weather can be expected Thursday night into the weekend. Temperatures will even be cold enough for some snow, most likely in the mountains and foothills. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight, though hail and wind reports would be appreciated this afternoon and evening.
