WASHINGTON COUNTY HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK

 This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central Colorado.  .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight  High based showers and isolated thunderstorms are possible starting late afternoon for areas mainly north of I-76. Wind gusts to 40 mph will be possible with this activity. For tonight, stronger to possibly severe storms may form over far northeast Colorado with quarter size hail and winds to 60 mph.  .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday  Strong winds will spread across the plains behind a cold front Friday afternoon through Saturday morning. Wind gusts to around 50 mph are expected Friday afternoon and evening. On Saturday, winds will not be as strong near the mountains, but the strong winds will continue over the northeast part of the state through at least the middle of the day. There will be snow showers in the mountains Friday, with light accumulations mainly over the ridges.  Additional weather systems will move through Sunday into Monday and again Tuesday into Wednesday. Details are uncertain with these systems, but a couple periods of snow showers are likely in the mountains with a good chance of rain showers on the plains along with some windy periods. Depending on the timing and track of these weather systems, there may still be some periods of elevated fire danger as well.  .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
